Fez — International fashion magazine ELLE has launched its Moroccan edition, featuring singer Ouidad on the cover of its debut issue and introducing a new platform for Moroccan fashion, beauty, culture, and lifestyle.

The magazine announced the launch on October 16, marking the arrival of ELLE’s 51st international edition published in Morocco under license by Geomedia Group.

According to French media group Lagardère, the magazine will reach Moroccan newsstands this October, joining an international publishing network spanning 48 countries.

Ouidad becomes ELLE Maroc’s first cover star

Moroccan singer Ouidad, whose musical career connects Morocco and France, appears on the inaugural cover wearing a sharply tailored black ensemble with a white shirt and sculptural headpiece.

The cover introduces her as a rising star, while the debut issue promises 180 pages of fashion trends, style, and lifestyle features.

Under the editorial direction of Zineb Ibnouzahir, as identified in the launch announcement shared by Jooj Media, ELLE Maroc intends to highlight Moroccan women, creative professionals, and emerging talent.

The first issue also features stories of women pursuing careers across music, mountaineering, gastronomy, and street soccer, alongside fashion and beauty coverage.

A new chapter for fashion publishing in Morocco

ELLE Maroc will initially publish four issues annually, with editions devoted to fashion, weddings, beauty, and luxury, complemented by a special travel issue.

The publisher also plans to introduce ELLE MEN and ELLE Decoration in November 2026, with each title appearing twice annually.

Beginning in 2027, the publishing schedule will expand to nine regular publications annually, alongside the travel special.

Beyond print, the magazine plans to develop its digital platforms and organize events celebrating Morocco’s fashion and creative communities.
