Laura Dern also posted the same picture on her Instagram account under the simple caption “holiday in Morocco.”

The two actors are not the first Hollywood celebrities to come to the North African country to enjoy this summer holiday season.

American actress and Pretty Little Liars star, Lucy Hale, is also enjoying her summer holiday with a trip to Morocco’s South Perl, Marrakech.

On June 10, the young star shared a series of photos of her Marrakech vacation on Instagram.

The pictures feature Hale in a Marrakech souk (local market), with the Hollywood star notably paying a visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum during her Marrakech stay.

In May, the American comedian and television show host Ellen DeGeneres was seen enjoying a vacation in Marrakech with her partner Portia de Rossi.

Outside of the American entertainment industry, Morocco is also a prized vacation destination among other international celebrities.

Algerian international and Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez also recently shared a series of pictures of himself in Marrakech, where he is currently spending his summer holiday.

As Morocco’s tourism appears to be bouncing back strongly from the COVID-induced disruptions, Moroccan cities are seeing an increased influx of local and international tourists.

Last month, revenues from the country’s tourism sector reached the $1 billion threshold, according to Tourism Minister Fatima Zahra Ammor. Notably, Morocco’s tourism traffic has increased by 80% compared to last year.
