The atmosphere was electric, with fans and locals filling the square to witness a lineup of renowned performers who brought the magic of the city to life.

Marrakech – Yesterday, Marrakech’s iconic Jemaa el Fna Square transformed into a magical stage as the city celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Jardin Majorelle with a spectacular concert.

Under the stars, the square buzzed with excitement as Nouamane Belaiachi, Douzi, Kawtar Sadik, and Ikram el Abdia performed, their voices echoing across the historic square.

One of the evening’s most powerful moments came when Douzi took the stage, proudly holding the Moroccan flag as he performed the beloved classic “Laayoun Aynia.”

The crowd erupted in cheers, chanting in a beautiful display of national pride, making it a night to remember for everyone present.

The free event attracted a large crowd of locals and tourists alike, all eager to be part of a night that honored both art and nature.

The concert paid tribute to a century of beauty and passion that has defined the Jardin Majorelle, which has long been a haven for nature lovers, artists, and dreamers from around the world.

The celebration also was a tribute to Jacques Majorelle, the garden’s visionary founder, as well as the transformative influence of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, who saved the garden from decline in 1980.

Since then, it has blossomed into one of Morocco’s most visited attractions, housing the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech.

With this milestone, the garden’s legacy is set to continue captivating generations, with more events planned throughout the fall and winter to mark this monumental anniversary.

Marrakech is once again proving why it remains a cultural hub, seamlessly blending tradition and modernity.
