Rabat – The Casablanca Arab Film Festival has announced the postponement of its seventh edition to July, according to an official statement shared via its Instagram account.
The decision, the festival explained, comes in response to current circumstances and ongoing travel challenges across the Arab world, which have affected the ability of participants to attend under optimal conditions.
Organizers said the adjustment was made to ensure broader participation and a smoother experience for filmmakers, guests, and industry professionals.
Originally scheduled for an earlier date, the festival will now take place in Casablanca from July 17-24.
Alongside the new dates, the organizers have also extended the deadline for film submissions to May 15, giving filmmakers additional time to complete and submit their entries.
The Casablanca Arab Film Festival is a key cultural event dedicated to celebrating Arab cinema, bringing together filmmakers, critics, and audiences from across the region to showcase new works and foster industry exchange.
