Casablanca – Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida (El Jadida Horse Show) is welcoming Oman’s Royal Cavalry for the first time, offering visitors a closer look at the Sultanate’s equestrian traditions.
Running from October 13-18 at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, the 17th edition brings together different equestrian cultures and experiences under one roof.
A glimpse into Oman’s equestrian heritage
The Royal Cavalry’s participation gives visitors and horse enthusiasts an opportunity to discover Oman’s relationship with horses, shaped by generations of tradition, knowledge, and care.
Beyond showcasing its heritage, it adds a new perspective to the event, creating space for conversations between people who share a passion for horses but bring different cultural traditions to the table.
Where equestrian traditions meet
This first appearance also reflects the show’s international outlook, with its program encouraging exchanges between professionals and enthusiasts from different backgrounds.
This year’s theme, “The Horse in the Service of Humanity,” explores the horse’s place in cultural heritage, art, sport, education, and professional life. Oman’s participation fits naturally into that conversation, offering another perspective on the traditions people continue to preserve and pass on.
With the Royal Cavalry joining the event for the first time, Salon du Cheval d’El Jadida continues to open its doors to equestrian cultures from around the world, bringing together heritage, shared knowledge, and a common appreciation for horses.
