Marrakech – After years of anticipation, BTS has officially confirmed its long-awaited return to the global stage with a major world tour spanning 2026 and 2027, alongside the release of a brand-new album that marks a more mature artistic chapter for the group.

The world tour will kick off on April 9, in Goyang, South Korea, before moving on to Tokyo, and then expanding to North America later in April.

The first US stop will be Tampa, Florida, with shows scheduled for April 25-26, while the North American leg will conclude with four concerts in Los Angeles in September.

According to the official statement, the tour will cover 34 regions worldwide and feature a total of 79 concerts, underscoring BTS’s full-scale return to the international music scene.

In addition to South Korea, Japan, and North America, the group will perform across several countries in 2026, including Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Brazil, and Malaysia.

Further destinations are planned for 2027, with stops announced in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, among others.

The tour announcement follows the group’s earlier confirmation, made in early January, of a new studio album scheduled for release on March 20.

While the album’s title has yet to be revealed, it is set to include 14 new tracks. The accompanying press release describes the project as deeply reflective, shaped by the personal experiences of each member during the group’s hiatus.

All seven artists reportedly took part in defining the album’s direction, blending their individual musical perspectives developed throughout their solo endeavors and military service period.
