Fez — The Paris Boys Choir will perform a free sacred music concert at the Eglise des Saints Martyrs (Church of the Holy Martyrs) in Marrakech on July 13 at 8 p.m.

The concert will feature “La Maîtrise de Sainte-Croix de Neuilly,” known internationally as “The Paris Boys Choir,” under the direction of François Polgár, with Jean-Christophe Polgár on piano.

The program will open with a first part featuring Jonathan Gleyze on clarinet and Michel Chanard on organ, according to the event announcement.

The concert is scheduled to take place at the Church of the Holy Martyrs on Rue de l’Imam Ali in Marrakech. Entry will be free, making the evening accessible to residents, visitors, families, and lovers of sacred and choral music.

A French choir in Marrakech

The Paris Boys Choir is one of France’s most active boys’ choirs, performing sacred and secular works in France and abroad.

The choir is attached to Notre-Dame de Sainte-Croix in Neuilly-sur-Seine and has a long tradition of performing music for religious ceremonies, official functions, festivals, and major works with orchestra.

For Marrakech, the concert offers a rare cultural evening built around sacred music, youth voices, and the acoustics of one of the city’s historic Christian religious spaces.

The Church of the Holy Martyrs is a Catholic church in Marrakech’s Geuliz district. It was built in 1928 and remains one of the city’s notable landmarks.

The July 13 concert also reflects Marrakech’s ability to host cultural events that bring together residents and international performers in intimate settings.

With free entry and a central location, the performance is expected to offer a quiet, reflective musical moment in the middle of the city’s summer cultural calendar.
