Rabat – Moroccan star Saad Lamjarred has teased his upcoming track “Bezaf,” with the official teaser released on the YouTube channel PlayDMF.
The release marks another collaboration with Indian artists, continuing his cross-cultural musical direction. The song is a duo between Lamjarred and Indian singer Neha Kakkar, while the music video features Lamjarred alongside Shehnaaz Gill.
Bringing together talents from different creative fields, the project highlights a cross-cultural collaboration spanning direction, composition, and lyrics.
Directed by Sneha Shetty Kohli and written by Lamjarred, Charif Bennis, and Rana Sotal, the track is composed by Charif Bennis and Rajat Nagpal, reflecting a blend of artistic influences from the two countries.
While Lamjarred has not yet announced an official release date, fans are already expressing excitement, particularly those drawn to Indian-inspired music.
Fans from both Moroccan and Indian audiences have flooded the comments with support.
“You don’t just release songs, you create emotions. So excited for this one,” one fan wrote.
This track, however, may not be the only cross-cultural project this year. In a social media post sharing the official poster, Lamjarred hinted at more international collaborations, writing, “Get ready for this year’s 1st cross-cultural hit.”
In the same context, a few days before the teaser’s release, Lamjarred also revealed that the project marks his first experience as a director, as he takes charge of his own music video.
“My first time directing my own music video… in front and behind the camera,” he wrote.
With “Bezaf,” this song becomes his third Indian collaboration, following previous hits “Homa Dol” and “Guli Mata.”
