Rabat – Moroccan artists, Manal and Dystinct are set to represent Morocco at the first edition of Mahrajan Festival, taking place in London on August 1.
The event marks the launch of a new international platform dedicated to Arab music, bringing together artists from different backgrounds in a shared cultural space.
Both Moroccan artists are part of the inaugural lineup, highlighting the growing global presence of Moroccan music.
Organizers have been revealing the lineup gradually, announcing artists one at a time in the weeks leading up to the festival.

The first names announced were Palestinian singer Saint Levant, followed by Dystinct, Zeyne, and Omar Souleyman, with Manal joining the lineup.

The Mahrajan Festival is set to bring Arab music to London in a lively, open-air setting, creating a space where different styles and generations of artists come together naturally.
It also offers a space for the Arab diaspora in the UK to reconnect with regional music and cultural identity, while introducing broader international audiences to evolving musical trends from the Arab world.
The festival will be held at Crystal Palace Bowl, running from 1 p.m-10:30 p.m., featuring a full-day program of live performances, showcasing the diversity of Arab music on one stage.
