Casablanca – Moroccan-Canadian superstar Nora Fatehi released “Slay To The Rhythm” on Friday, joining forces with Moroccan artist Ma3iz and Bangladeshi DJ and producer Sanjoy.

The song has already captured listeners’ attention, surpassing 145,000 views on YouTube in less than eight hours after its release.

What makes the track stand out, much like Fatehi’s artistic journey, is its multicultural character. While Fatehi sings in English, Ma3iz brings a Moroccan touch to the song with his Darija verses, creating a musical meeting point between their different backgrounds.

The song also arrives with a strong dose of summer energy and an upbeat outlook on life. As its title suggests, “Slay To The Rhythm” offers a carefree invitation to let go, embrace the moment, and simply move with the rhythm.

In the YouTube comment, Fatehi opened up about what the release means to her as an independent artist and producer. She described the project as an important step in her musical growth, while also calling on her fans for their support.

For Fatehi, the song is ultimately about freedom, music, and dance, two elements she says have opened doors for her and connected her with audiences around the world.

“I hope this one inspires you to be free from the judgements of society and follow your heart always,” she concluded.

The release also marks another chapter in Fatehi and Sanjoy’s musical partnership.

The two previously worked on FIFA World Cup songs including “Siir Siir,” one of the tournament’s official anthems alongside French artist Vegedream, and later reunited for “Champions – Fi Kol Makan” with Tanzanian artist Rayvanny

Beyond their World Cup collaborations, Sanjoy has also worked with Fatehi on tracks such as “Ya Baba” and “Sajan Re,” making the new release another addition to their growing musical partnership.

With its cross-cultural sound, upbeat spirit, and message of freedom, “Slay To The Rhythm” adds another colorful chapter to Fatehi’s repertoire while marking a new step in her journey as an independent artist.
