Rabat — Tom Hardy has dropped his first official full-length rap album under the name Frankie Pulitzer.
Titled “Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer,” the 15-track project arrived on August 28, in collaboration with Czarface, the hip-hop trio with Deck, 7L, and Esoteric.
The album also features guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man, EL-P and Kendra Morris.
Hardy isn’t new to Czarface. He first teamed up with the group in 2021 on their “Good Guys, Bad Guys” EP, with several tracks later featured in “Venom: Let There Be Carnage. “
The new album also brings in Method Man, EL-P, and Busta Rhymes. Czarface has a track record of full-length collabs, including two projects with the late MF DOOM, one with Ghostface Killah, and 2024’s “Everybody Eats!” with Kool Keith.
This recording isn’t Hardy’s first rap run. Early in his acting career, Hardy performed under the name of “Tommy No 1“ alongside friend Edward “Eddie Too Tall” Tracy.
The duo recorded “Falling On Your Arse“ in 1999, but it didn’t surface online until 2018. Frankie Pulitzer now is the most fully realised version of that long-running musical side of his life.
This album news follows recent headlines around Hardy’s TV series “MobLand.“
Reports of him being fired after clashes with producers were later walked back, with the team confirming they’re working with him on Season 3.
