Rabat – Morocco is set to make its debut appearance as the guest country of honor at this year’s prestigious Gourmets Salon in Madrid from April 22 to 25.
According to a press release from Morocco Foodex, this participation marks a significant milestone for the North African country’s gastronomy as it steps onto the international stage in one of Europe’s largest exhibitions dedicated to gourmet products and fine groceries.
Spanning across a pavilion measuring 348 square meters, Morocco’s pavilion at the Madrid Gourmets Salon will spotlight the country’s culinary prowess, along with the richness and quality of its products.
A total of 15 exhibitors representing diverse sectors including fisheries, olives, processed goods, and terroir specialties will offer a glimpse into the country’s gastronomic heritage.
Established over 35 years ago, the Gourmets Salon in Madrid stands as a beacon in the European food industry, providing a coveted platform to explore cutting-edge trends and innovations in the sector.
