Rabat – Maroc Telecom has announced the 22nd edition of its Festival des Plages, scheduled to run from July 20 to August 21 across M’diq, Tangier, Al Hoceima, and Saïdia.

The month-long event will feature 60 free concerts staged on venues built to international standards.

This year’s lineup spans a wide range of musical styles, including hip-hop, rap, Aïta, Chaâbi, contemporary Moroccan music, Raï, Reggada, Arab pop, Levantine variety music, as well as performances by local and folkloric groups.

Alongside established artists from Morocco and the wider Arab world, the festival will continue to serve as a platform for young Moroccan talent, giving emerging performers the opportunity to share the stage with well-known acts and perform before large audiences.

Maroc Telecom said the free festival reflects its long-standing commitment to making culture accessible to everyone.

Organizers say the event encourages connections between generations, strengthens ties between artists and audiences, and creates spaces for shared cultural experiences.

Beyond its artistic program, the festival is also expected to support the local economies of the host cities by boosting activity for businesses, tourism establishments, and the wider hospitality ecosystem during the peak summer season.

First launched in 2002, the Festival des Plages has grown into one of Morocco’s largest free music festivals, attracting millions of festivalgoers each summer.

Through its 22nd edition, Maroc Telecom says it aims to continue promoting culture, supporting artistic creation, and showcasing Morocco’s regions through an inclusive and accessible musical celebration.
