Rabat – Yves Saint Laurent, a French luxury fashion house, released a short trailer yesterday on Instagram announcing that their Spring Summer 2023 Men’s Show will take place this year in Morocco’s Agafay.

Designed by household name Anthony Vaccarello, the collection marks a return to the original Yves Saint Laurent emblem

The show is scheduled to take place this evening at 8:45 p.m UTC +1. It will be streamed live on YSL’s official Instagram page.

This is not the first time that Saint Laurent has unveiled its world-class designs in Morocco’s South Perl. The French luxury brand already has a museum located in the heart of Marrakech.

The city served as a source of inspiration and the muse behind many collections of the brand’s founder, Yves Saint Laurent, sources note.

After Saint Laurent passed away, the city became home to the brand’s official museum that opened its doors in 2017.

In addition to the one in Paris, the YSL museum in Marrakech is the only other museum belonging to the French brand.

The museum now offers exclusive details for the brand’s admirers regarding the brand’s history and the life of its creator.

The structure also holds a private library showcasing a collection of highly valuable books that are centuries old. Some of the books within the library date back to the 16th century.

The valuable manuscripts are said to have been donated to the museum by YSL’s co-founder and fashion designer, Pierre Berge.

This summer’s brand reflects Yves Saint Lurant’s heritage and the close ties between the brand and the Moroccan city.
