Fez – Moroccan international and Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi has joined his fellow mate Kylian Mbappe on a summer holiday in Morocco’s red city of Marrakech.
Hakimi shared a picture of himself posing next to a sand-colored building, a signature style of Marrakech’s architecture.
Meanwhile, Mbappe earlier this week had posted glimpses of his vacation in Marrakech. The PSG superstar appeared in the swimming pool of one of Marrakech’s luxurious hotels, enjoying the city’s hot weather during this time of the year.
While enjoying the summer break after a long, tiring football season, both players grabbed the opportunity to visit an orphanage in Tahannaout, a city southeast of Marrakech.
Over the past year, the close bond between Hakimi and Mbappe has made headlines, with news outlets pointing to the harmony between the two PSG stars.

The two players have shared a close connection on and off the pitch since the Moroccan right-back’s transfer to PSG in summer 2021.
Outside of the football pitch, the players have regularly been spending time together and sharing joyful moments.
In May, the PSG stars appeared in a video marking Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
In the video shared on the PSG social media platforms, Hakimi appeared to test Mbappe’s knowledge of traditional cookies and sweets made during Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
The video garnered millions of views, with internet users appreciating the special bond linking the two PSG players.
In April, Hakimi invited his French teammate to an Iftar meal to mark the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
Video of the French center-forward pouring Moroccan tea in the Moroccan style was widely shared on social media platforms, with many fans looking amazed at Mbappe’s excellent imitation.
