Casablanca – Moroccan K-pop artist Kim Miso received the 2026 Global Entertainment Award at the 26th Best Brand Awards, a huge moment for Moroccan talents worldwide.

Dressed in a blue Moroccan caftan, she turned a high-profile international ceremony into something more personal, quietly anchoring a global stage in a sense of cultural identity. 

The look carried a clear visual statement, where contemporary pop visibility met traditional Moroccan elegance without excess or theatrical framing.

From her side, the artist shared her pride in the moment, reflecting on a journey that took her from Morocco to Korea and shaped her path in the entertainment industry. 

She also expressed the emotional weight of representing her roots on an international stage, noting how meaningful it was for her to appear in a Moroccan caftan. 

“One of the most beautiful things for me was wearing the Moroccan caftan on this global stage, because I did not want to represent only myself, but I wanted to represent Morocco and our Arab culture with all love and pride,” Miso wrote in an instagram post.

But this does not mark her first achievement. This recognition adds to a growing list of milestones. 

Just over a month earlier, she was also awarded the K-Culture Global Icon Grand Prize 2026, further marking her visibility within Korea’s cultural and entertainment scene.
