Rabat- A recent ranking by Kayak.fr has positioned Marrakech as the top travel destination for French tourists for the upcoming All Saints’ Day holidays. Known for its vibrant culture, stunning architecture, and sunny climate, Marrakech offers an appealing escape from the colder months.

The iconic city’s prominence is highlighted by its leading position, followed closely by long-haul destinations such as Bangkok, Thailand, and Tokyo, Japan, which have secured the second and third spots, respectively.

New York ranks fourth, with Saint-Denis, the capital of Reunion Island, taking fifth place. Bali, Indonesia, also remains a popular choice among travelers, while major European cities like Rome, Lisbon, and London complete the list.

Published on September 16, this ranking underscores a notable shift in French travel preferences. The ranking attributes Marrakech’s strong appeal to its rich cultural offerings and favorable weather during this time of year.

In addition, Capital Magazine reports a general decrease in flight prices for many international destinations, with fares dropping by approximately 9% compared to the same period last year. However, Rome, Lisbon, and London are exceptions, where flight prices are on the rise.

As Marrakech leads in attracting tourists seeking warm climates and cultural experiences, cities like Bangkok and Tokyo also remain attractive options for those looking to travel further afield during the All Saints’ Day holidays.
