Rabat – The Fondation Jardin Majorelle has announced Salsabil El Ouazzani as the winner of the 2026 Fondation Jardin Majorelle Prize (FJMP) for the Temporary Pavilion project.

Revealed on May 15 in Marrakech, the architect was recognized for her proposal “Nouala, the Moving Shelter.”

The jury selected the project for its thoughtful choice of materials, its sensitive integration into the Jardin Majorelle environment, and its architectural precision and feasibility.

A special mention was also awarded to El Mehdi Belyassmine for his project “Phyllocode,” highlighting the exceptional quality of submissions received during this second edition.

This year’s competition drew strong interest from Morocco’s emerging architectural scene, with 34 applications submitted by candidates from leading schools across the country, including institutions in Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez, and Ben Guerir.
