Fez — The Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat is set to host Mawazine’s closing weekend on June 26 and 27, with ElGrandeToto, Morad, Cheb Khaled, and Douzi leading two major nights of concerts.
The concerts are part of the 21st edition of “Mawazine Festival – Rhythms of the World,” which is scheduled to run from June 19 to 27, according to the festival’s official platforms.
On June 26, Moroccan singer Douzi will perform alongside Algerian rai icon Cheb Khaled, bringing together two artists with long-standing regional appeal. Douzi remains one of Morocco’s most recognizable pop voices, while Cheb Khaled’s catalog helped bring rai music to global audiences.
The following evening, Spanish-Moroccan rapper Morad will share the closing stage with Moroccan rap star ElGrandeToto. The pairing is likely to draw a younger crowd, especially fans of Moroccan hip-hop and diaspora rap scenes in Europe.
