Rabat – Rare Beauty, Selena Gomez’s billion-dollar beauty brand, has named 19-year-old actress Ella Bright as its first-ever celebrity ambassador.

Ella is now the first ambassador in the brand’s six-year history, and honestly, the pick makes a lot of sense once you know who she is.

The new partnership centers on Rare Beauty’s cult-favorite Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, and the campaign concept is genuinely clever.

It’s a smart move on Rare Beauty’s part. Rather than just slapping a famous face on a product, they’re leaning into the emotional shorthand Bright already carries with her fanbase for anyone who watches “Off Campus,” a blush already means something.

Bright, for her part, says she was a fan of the formula long before the partnership existed.

She has also spoken about how much the brand’s mental health mission  through the Rare Impact Fund claiming that it  means to her personally.

Bright is the breakout star of “Off Campus,” the Amazon Prime romantic drama that quietly became one of the platform’s biggest debuts of the year.

The show pulled in 36 million viewers in its first two weeks, making it the third most-watched series launch on Amazon Prime, and it’s become the platform’s top show among women aged 18–34, the same audience that made “The Summer I Turned Pretty” a phenomenon a few years back.

In the show, Bright plays Hannah Wells, a music student navigating the chaos of college relationships. And if you’ve watched even one episode, you’ll know exactly why Rare Beauty came calling.

This isn’t just another influencer deal. Rare Beauty launched in 2020 without a celebrity ambassador at all, building its identity instead around Selena Gomez’s own story and the brand’s focus on accessible, everyday makeup with a mental-health-first ethos.

Bright is having an undeniable breakout year with her hit show, her growing fanbase, and now her major beauty deal, all before turning 20. If “Made You Blush” is any indication, this is only the beginning of her cultural moments.
