Rabat – To promote “The Last House,“ Netflix placed a performer inside a furnished billboard above Sunset Boulevard on Thursday .

The installation features a fully furnished living room built into a billboard about 30 feet above the ground.

The unusual setup has quickly caught the attention of drivers and pedestrians passing through the heart of the Sunset Strip.

It brings the film’s unsettling premise to life, transforming one of Hollywood’s busiest intersections into an eerie real-world spectacle.

Videos posted on social media showed the performer waving to people below and going about everyday activities inside the billboard.

The man was also seen using binoculars to take in the views overlooking the Sunset Strip.

Photos and videos also showed the billboard performer holding up white boards with messages reading, “What’s going on?” and “Stuck in here.”

Many people on social media thought it was a brilliant concept to promote the movie.

About the movie

The Last House, directed by Louis Leterrier, stars Greta Lee and Wagner Moura as a couple sealed inside their residence with their two young children, working together to survive a mysterious outside threat as their supplies begin to run out.

The director said he was drawn to Matthew Robinson’s script and its unsettling premise: what would it be like to wake up one day physically sealed inside your own home, without even knowing why?

He teased that the story will take unexpected turns, adding that its twists and layers are what make the film so intriguing.

“The Last House” will hit Netflix today.
