Rabat – Blackpink star Lisa is taking her relationship with PlayStation one step further with a new limited-edition DualSense controller designed around her signature style.
The LISA Limited Edition DualSense will launch on October 30 in highly limited quantities, with pre-orders opening October 2.
The controller follows Lisa’s first collaboration with PlayStation, which came through the company’s global PS5 campaign last year.
LISA meets PlayStation
The new DualSense puts LISA’s visual identity directly onto one of PlayStation’s most recognizable pieces of hardware.
The controller will be available directly through PlayStation and participating retailers globally from October 30. The recommended price is $84.99 (812 MAD)
Her signature bangs and eyes appear across the controller’s touchpad, while stars and bold “LL” lettering add further details inspired by the singer.
The design is finished in Chroma Pearl, a color PlayStation identifies as Lisa’s personal favorite.
Rather than changing the controller’s functions, the collaboration keeps the familiar DualSense design while giving it a distinctly Lisa appearance.
PlayStation revealed the project was developed closely with the artist from the beginning, with details chosen to carry personal meaning for her.
More than a controller
The collaboration with the k-pop star, Lisa, does not include just the world of gaming, but also other areas that might appeal to those who are not into the gaming area.
Lisa x PlayStation merchandise collection will include apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers, a DualSense carrying case, and other pieces featuring LISA’s designs.
The additional merchandise will launch in the United States in limited quantities, with some items available for pre-order through PlayStation from October 2. Other pieces will arrive on LISA’s official Amazon store on October 23.
For fans hoping to get their hands on the controller, October 2 is the date to remember. With PlayStation realising it in highly limited quantities, the window between wanting one and discovering they are all gone may be considerably shorter than anyone would prefer.
