Rabat – Morocco’s celebration of the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin continues this summer with a second concert in Rabat.
The upcoming concert will take place on July 10, 2025, at 7 p.m., at the National Mohammed V Theatre, featuring Polish pianist Andrzej Wierciński – a laureate of multiple international competitions.
The concert is part of an ongoing four-part series organized by the Polish Embassy in Morocco to honor Chopin’s legacy and strengthen cultural ties with the two nations.
For this second concert, the audience will be treated to a refined selection of Chopin’s masterworks, reflecting the full range of his poetic and technical skills.

The evening’s soloist, Andrzej Wierciński, born in Warsaw, is recognized for his refined touch and emotional sensitivity.
He is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Royal College of Music in London, and has performed internationally across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Wierciński was a semi-finalist in the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw and has received top prizes at several prestigious competitions dedicated to Chopin’s work.
As one of the defining voices of the Romantic era, Chopin’s music is deeply personal and emotionally rich. His works demand not only technical mastery but also deep sensitivity, qualities that Andrzej Wierciński is particularly known for.
