Rabat– On July 16, Denise Richards, 54, was granted a court-issued temporary restraining order in Los Angeles County after detailed abuse allegations surfaced in her filing.

According to court documents, Richards claims her husband, Aron Phypers assaulted her on multiple occasions, including strangling, slapping, and dragging her down stairs, leaving her with at least three concussions.

He allegedly threatened both her life and his own to prevent her from seeking help.

Richards also offers photographic evidence of injuries, including a black eye, and accuses Phypers of hacking her devices, stealing private data, and owning at least eight unregistered firearms.

Another claim includes an incident that happened this month at a Beverly Hills hotel during her recovery from surgery, when Phypers reportedly “smashed her on the top of her head with the palm of his hand” amid a confrontation over her phone.

Phypers responded through his lawyer, denying all allegations as false and “deeply hurtful,” and calling Richards’ claims “fabricated”. He asserted they separated on July 4 and that his divorce filing was due to irreconcilable differences.

The restraining order restricts Phypers from contacting Richards or coming within 100 yards of her home, workplace, and vehicles. A follow-up hearing will take place on August 8 to determine whether it becomes permanent.
