Casablanca – Moroccan singer and actress Tahra is taking part in the historical Libyan series “Al-Qarar” (The Decision), set to begin airing today on BNTV.
The drama arrives midway through the Ramadan 2026 television season, which offers viewers a new historical story at a time when most series have already been on air for weeks.
Tahra recently shared the series’ teaser on her Instagram account, giving followers a first look at the upcoming drama. Yesterday, she also posted the official poster of the character she portrays in the series, continuing to promote the project ahead of its premiere.
Directed by Yasser Samy and written by Omar Abd El-Haliem, the series falls within the category of national historical dramas. The production blends real events with fictional storytelling to explore their broader human and social impact.
Tahra appears alongside a group of actors. The cast includes Khaled Kafo, Norhan El-Sherif, Ammar AlMansouri, Salwa Al Maqsabi, Faraj Abdelkarim, Ahmed Safwat, and Kariman Jabr.
Beyond acting, Tahra is also known for her work as a singer. Over the years, she has released several songs while gradually expanding her presence in television and drama.
Her musical releases include “HDA HDA,” “3al Mashy,” “Blanak Khawy,” “Elwad Da Moz,” and “Hrach Laayoune.” She also performed the song “Alf Mabrouk” in the second season of the series “Salamat Abou Lbanat.”
On the acting side, Tahra has appeared in both Moroccan and Egyptian productions. Her credits include “Al Moukhtafi,” “Salamat Abou Lbanat,” and “Weld Al Ghalaba” among others.
With Al-Qarar, she adds another cross-border project to her growing list of screen roles.
