Rabat – Luxury hospitality company Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on December 27 the opening of Park Hyatt Marrakech, stressing this inauguration in the iconic Moroccan city is part of the group’s strategy of growing its presence in Africa.

Located 15 kilometers away from the Medina district in Marrakech, the retreat occupies 19 acres, next to the Al Maaden Golf Resort, offering guests access to an 18-hole golf course.

The Park Hyatt Marrakech was designed by Marrakech-based architect Imaad Rahmouni and features a blend of modern architecture and Arab-Amazigh heritage.

The property consists of 16 pavilions and features 130 spacious rooms and suites.

The rooms include local modern artworks, sourced from the Ifitry Artists’ Residence, showcasing over 700 pieces from talents across Morocco, Senegal, Benin, Spain, France, Italy, and Japan.

The resort also includes a 23,000-square-foot spa that offers personalized treatments, including the Hammam Escape and Muscle and Sports Massage.

In addition, the hotel includes a hair salon, fitness center, yoga studio, and a trio of pools outdoor heated, indoor heated, and a family-friendly outdoor pool.

Javier Aguila, group president EAME at Hyatt, welcomed the opening of the hotel and expressed enthusiasm about the property’s inauguration, describing it as a “highly anticipated” addition to the Park Hyatt portfolio.
