Rabat – National Higher School of Arts and Crafts (ENSAM) is set to convene key players from academia, industry, and public institutions for the 23rd edition of its flagship event “Arts & Métiers – Enterprises Forum” on May 14, at the Agropolis Conference Hall in Meknes.

Positioned as a high-level platform for dialogue and collaboration, the forum reflects a broader national ambition: strengthening Morocco’s economic competitiveness while reinforcing its regional and global influence.

This year’s theme, “The Moroccan Engineer: Cornerstone of National Soft Power,” signals a shift in narrative, placing engineering talent at the heart of the Kingdom’s international positioning.

Far from a purely technical role, Moroccan engineers are increasingly seen as strategic assets.

Their contributions span major infrastructure projects, energy transitions, and technological innovation, sectors that collectively shape Morocco’s long-term sovereignty and global standing.

In this context, human capital emerges as a decisive lever of influence, where expertise, creativity, and execution intersect.

The forum will open with a plenary session gathering prominent voices from government, diplomacy, business, as well as cultural and sports spheres.

Their exchanges will explore how engineering excellence can translate into broader national impact.

A series of thematic panels will follow, addressing key intersections such as talent development, the role of technology in enhancing sports performance, and the expression of Moroccan ingenuity through arts and culture.

Beyond thought leadership, the event also serves as a concrete gateway to the professional world.

Engineering students will have the opportunity to connect directly with partner companies, fostering recruitment prospects and industry exposure.

The program also includes the Innov’AM Awards, celebrating the most forward-thinking student projects, alongside the signing of strategic partnerships aimed at deepening collaboration between academia and industry.
