Casablanca – Syrian singer Al Shami released“Ana Baadak” on Monday, marking the first release from his upcoming album “Hawiyah.”
Written and composed by Al Shami himself, the track takes listeners through an emotional story of love, heartbreak, and longing.
The release also highlights a more romantic side of the artist, adding a new dimension to a repertoire that has largely been shaped by his signature Levantine sound.
And as usual, the audience response was immediate.
Released less than 24 hours ago, “Ana Baadak” has already surpassed one million views on YouTube, reflecting the strong following and growing popularity Al Shami has built over the past few years.
The release comes just three weeks after his duet “Aayesh La Oyounak” with Leen Hayek, which has already exceeded 19 million views on YouTube, continuing the momentum leading up to the launch of “Hawiyah.”
With every release, Al Shami continues to strengthen a catalog that has rapidly earned him recognition across the Arab world.
In just a few years, the Syrian singer has established himself as one of the region’s fastest-rising artists.
He also became the youngest artist to reach No. 1 on a Billboard Arabia chart, earning a Guinness World Record in the process.
“Hawiyah” arrives shortly after Al Shami’s first appearance at Morocco’s Mawazine Festival, where he performed on Rabat’s Nahda Stage on June 24, drawing thousands of fans.
As anticipation builds for the rest of the album, “Ana Baadak” marks another milestone in Al Shami’s career, further expanding a musical journey that continues to resonate with audiences across the region.
