Casablanca – Moroccan rapper Ma3iz has released his latest track, “7olm Kbir,” marking another chapter in a year that has already taken the artist beyond Morocco.

The release comes shortly after his collaboration with Nora Fatehi on “Slay to the Rhythm,” a dance-pop track that also features American-Bangladeshi producer Sanjoy. The song arrived in July and later received an acoustic version performed by Fatehi and Ma3iz.

The song also marks a new step behind the camera. During his appearance with Nora Fatehi on “Chi Blan Mawqe3,” Ma3iz revealed that he directed the music video himself for the first time and filmed it on a phone while touring New York.

That hands-on approach gives the release a more personal feel, with Ma3iz taking control not only of the music but also of how he wanted the story to look on screen.

“7olm Kbir” also arrives with plenty of momentum behind Ma3iz. The Moroccan rapper has built a strong following through tracks including “De9at L9elb” and “Jro7i,” which continue to attract millions of listeners and viewers.

From Moroccan rap to a wider stage

Ma3iz’s recent collaboration with Nora Fatehi reflects the wider reach his music has begun to take. “Slay to the Rhythm” brought his Moroccan sound into a global dance-pop setting, while “7olm Kbir” brings the focus back to his own story and ambitions.

That contrast makes the new release particularly interesting. After stepping onto an international track with Fatehi, Ma3iz returns with a song that feels closer to home, built around the dreams, struggles, and family ties that have shaped his journey.

For an artist who has already turned personal experiences into some of his most recognized songs, “7olm Kbir” feels like another piece of that story, this time with Ma3iz behind the camera as well as behind the mic.
