Marrakech Backdrops International Designers’ Men’s Wear Collection Campaign

Rabat – Photographer Zachary Handley and fashion stylist Benoit Martinengo used Marrakech as the backdrop of a recent campaign for the spring/summer 2023 menswear collections.

The campaign, which was shot in several locations throughout the red city, features collections from international fashion designers Grace Wales Bonner, Veronique Nichanian, and Alessandro Sartori, according to Wallpaper magazine.

The red city is a favorite filming location for many ad campaigns. English and Albanian singer-songwriter Dua Lipa recently starred in Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s fragrance commercial, which was shot in Marrakech.

French luxury brand Yves Saint Laurent unveiled many of its world-class designs in Marrakech, including their Spring/Summer 2023 Men’s Show.

Marrakech is home to the famous and award-winning Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which was designed by Karl Fournier and Oliver Marty. The museum honors the life and work of French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

Turkish clothing brand Les Benjamins also chose Marrakech to film “The Mystic Journey,” its advertising campaign for its 2022 collection.

The red city, known as Morocco’s fashion capital, hosts the renowned Maroc Fashion Week every year. This year, the fashion show brought together global fashion industry A-listers and rising stars to showcase their stunning haute couture, caftan, and ready-to-wear collections.
