Rabat – Notable Moroccan luxury brands convened at the Luxury Network event, which was organized on February 10 by the country’s leading affinity marketing and business networking association, in Marrakech.

The Palais des Festivals et des Congres was the destination of several high-end businesses which gathered together to collaborate closely in order to advance both business and consumer development.

Aseel Abdullah, Co-founder and Interior Architect at MONARK Interiors and one of the award recipients at the ceremony, said that the Luxury Network event was originally scheduled for October of last year, but was postponed until February owing to unforeseen circumstances.

Gathering of various luxury companies for networking

The 2024 awards edition recognizes companies and people that have made significant contributions to the luxury market, by assembling a jury of influential industry specialists.

In an interview with Morocco World News (MWN), Aseel said that the purpose of the occasion was to honor the accomplishments of Luxury Network members.

Aseel expressed her thoughts on the occasion, saying that it was quite remarkable and full of accomplished individuals and well-known businesses with famous figures that have accomplished a great deal in their professional lives.

“I feel really glad to be here tonight because it is an honor, as we have all witnessed that the event was full of beautiful moments of success sharing,” she stated, complimenting the event’s “vibrant” atmosphere.

When asked about her award, Aseel proudly stated to MWN that the award was earned thanks to one of the latest projects accomplished in Jordan.

Aseel then expressed her desire to come back. “We hope that we can also join next year because it is really good to be around this huge amount of successful people and huge companies,” she declared.

Aseel’s education and professional career

Aseel obtained a bachelor’s degree in interior design with distinction at the University of Petra (UOP) in Jordan in 2013. She then studied at Ozyegin University in Turkey where she obtained a master’s degree in architecture in 2018, specializing in Sustainability and Parametric Design.

Between 2013 and 2018, Aseel had an academic practice as an instructor back at UOP. During the same period, she worked as the head of interior architecture and design department in Doha, Qatar, before co-founding MONARK Interiors in 2018.

Established in 2018, MONARK Interiors is a multi-cultural design studio situated in Istanbul, the capital city of Turkey.

According to the company’s website, the team, which consists of enthusiastic designers and experts with a wealth of industry knowledge as well as a diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds, enabled the firm to function on a regional and international scale.
