CasablancaCasamémoire has officially announced the 6th edition of the Nocturnes du Patrimoine (Heritage Nights,) which will be held between February 26 and March 8 in Casablanca.

This annual cultural event invites both residents and visitors to explore the city’s architectural heritage through guided visits across a variety of historic sites.

Founded in 1995, Casamémoire is a Moroccan non‑profit association (NGO) dedicated to the promotion, preservation and safeguarding of 20th‑century architectural heritage in Morocco, especially in Casablanca.

The organization was established in response to growing concerns over the demolition of historic buildings. Its mission includes advocating for the protection of architectural heritage, supporting restoration and rehabilitation projects, and contributing to research alongside national and international partners.

Held each year during the month of Ramadan, the Nocturnes du Patrimoine transforms Casablanca at night into a living canvas of its rich history, blending the past and present in a unique and immersive experience.

The event invites participants to rediscover the city’s architectural and cultural heritage while engaging with contemporary expressions.

Trained volunteer guides lead the journeys through a variety of circuits across Casablanca. From the Old Medina and Habous to Mers Sultan, Derb Sultan, and beyond, these tours promise nights filled with entertainment, exploration, and learning, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to experience the city in a completely new light.

And the best part? The event is free and open to the public, encouraging broad participation and fostering dialogue about Casablanca’s evolving urban identity.
