Marrakech – The curtain has closed on the 2025 Latin Billboard Music Awards, marking a night filled with surprises, emotional moments, and historic wins.
Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Fuerza Regida emerged as the evening’s biggest winners, sweeping a combined total of over 20 awards. Bad Bunny took home an impressive 11 trophies, including Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos.”
One of the most touching highlights came when legendary actress Rita Moreno presented him with the Artist of the 21st Century award, before the two shared a lively salsa dance on stage.
“I still see myself as a young dreamer with many goals ahead,” Bad Bunny said in his acceptance speech.
Karol G followed closely with six awards, including Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for her hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” which also topped categories for Airplay, Sales, and Streaming.
Meanwhile, Fuerza Regida claimed five awards, dominating the Regional Mexican categories alongside artists Peso Pluma, Netón Vega, and Óscar Maydon, each of whom took home multiple honors.
Special recognition awards went to Italian superstar Laura Pausini, who received the Icon Award, Elvis Crespo, inducted into the Billboard Hall of Fame, and Peso Pluma, who became the first-ever recipient of the Billboard Vanguard Award.
Hosted by Goyo and Javier Poza, the event was broadcast live from Miami’s James L. Knight Center on Telemundo, and simultaneously streamed on Peacock and Telemundo Internacional across Latin America and the Caribbean.
This year’s edition featured 49 award categories spanning Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm, and regional Mexican music, reflecting the rich diversity and growing global impact of Latin sounds.
