Rabat – The nominations for the 53rd Daytime Emmy Awards have officially been announced, setting the stage for one of daytime television’s biggest celebrations. 

Honoring the year’s standout achievements across daytime dramas, talk shows, lifestyle programming, and entertainment news, the ceremony will take place on October 30, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Organizers have yet to announce this year’s host.

Leading the nominations is “The Young and the Restless,” which earned 18 nominations, reaffirming its long-standing dominance in daytime television. 

Newcomer “Beyond the Gates” followed closely with 16 nominations, marking an impressive debut for the series.

Last year’s Outstanding Daytime Drama winner, “General Hospital,” received 13 nominations after taking home the top drama prize and seven additional awards in 2025. 

“Days of Our Lives” also secured a strong showing with eight nominations.

The race for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series features some of American television’s most recognizable programs:

  • 3rd Hour of TODAY
  • The Drew Barrymore Show
  • The Kelly Clarkson Show
  • Live with Kelly and Mark
  • TODAY with Jenna & Friends
  • The View

Among them, eThe Kelly Clarkson Showe emerged as one of this year’s top contenders with 11 nominations, including a nomination for Kelly Clarkson in the Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host category.

“The View” also enjoyed a strong showing. Joy Behar earned two nominations for her work on “The View” and “The Weekend View,” while co-hosts Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro each received two nominations ahead of the show’s milestone 30th season.

The remaining categories recognize excellence in cooking, lifestyle, legal programming, and special daytime productions, reflecting the broad range of content celebrated by the Daytime Emmy Awards each year.
