Rabat – July 2026 has become one of the busiest months of the year for movie fans, with a string of blockbuster releases turning cinemas into the center of online conversation.

Rather than counting down to a single premiere, audiences have been planning an entire month of theater visits as each major release arrives just days apart.

The month kicked off on July 10 with Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Moana,” which reimagines the beloved animated classic with Catherine Lagaʻaia starring as Moana and Dwayne Johnson reprising his role as Maui.

The family adventure quickly became one of the month’s most talked-about releases, drawing both longtime fans of the original film and new audiences.

Attention then shifted to Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” released on July 17.

The mythological epic, starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Robert Pattinson, generated widespread anticipation long before its premiere, with social media filled with reactions, sold-out screenings, and discussions about experiencing the film in premium formats.

Even before the excitement surrounding The Odyssey had faded, moviegoers began looking ahead to “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” set to swing into theaters on July 31.

The latest chapter in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man saga has fueled fan theories, countdowns, and advance ticket discussions, making it one of the most anticipated superhero releases of the summer.

Also generating buzz is “The Obsession,” adding another highly anticipated title to July’s packed release calendar and reinforcing the month’s reputation as one of 2026’s biggest periods for theatrical releases.
