Fez — Moroccan writer Hadi Bouabid will meet readers at Rabat Marriott Hotel on September 10 for a “Vin Littéraire” (Literary Wine) evening centered on his latest book, “L’histoire de Gatsha et Langa” (The Story of Gatsha and Langa).
The event will take place at “La Terrasse Marriott” from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to the organizers.
The evening is presented as an informal encounter with the author, combining literary discussion with the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel terrace.
A philosophical tale about freedom
Published in 2026 by Hello Editions, “L’histoire de Gatsha et Langa” follows two warriors sent from a drought-stricken village to search for more fertile land.
Gatsha represents discipline and loyalty to inherited teachings, while Langa is portrayed as more open to questioning established ideas. Their journey gradually becomes a philosophical confrontation over conformity, independence, and freedom of thought.
France’s national library lists Bouabid and Leïla Tran in the bibliographic record for the book, which carries ISBN 978-2-38673-796-1.
From business to writing
Bouabid’s career extends well beyond literature. An official professional biography from Dayfor Agency describes more than two decades of his work across luxury interiors, hospitality, real estate, commercial spaces, and high-end projects.
