‘Heart of the Beast’ to Hit Moroccan Cinemas on September 23

Casablanca – Survival thriller “Heart of the Beast” is heading to Moroccan cinemas tomorrow, September 23, bringing Brad Pitt back to the big screen in a story set against the unforgiving wilderness of Alaska.

Directed by David Ayer, the film follows James Belmont, a retired Army Special Forces officer who finds himself stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a devastating plane crash.

A man and his dog against the wild

With civilization far out of reach, James must fight his way through the harsh landscape to survive.

But he’s not alone. His only companion is his combat dog, Odin, who remains by his side as they make their way through the unforgiving wilderness.

With no easy way out, the two face freezing temperatures, dangerous terrain, predators, dwindling supplies, and injuries as they search for a way back to safety, while facing the elements and the dangers surrounding them.

While the wilderness drives much of the action, the bond between James and Odin sits at the heart of the film, giving Pitt a very different kind of screen companion.

Another reunion with Ayer

For Pitt, the film also marks another reunion with Ayer, following their work together in “Fury.” This time, however, the battlefield looks different. Instead of tanks and war zones, the duo heads into snow, wilderness, and a fight to make it home

“Heart of the Beast” keeps its cast relatively focused, with J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe joining Pitt. The film runs for around 101 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating for violence and peril.
