Casablanca – Moroccan rapper Ma3iz has reached Billboard Arabia’s Top 100 Artists chart for the first time, while his latest release, “7olm Kbir,” is climbing the platform’s Hip-Hop and Maghrebi charts.
The track currently ranks No. 28 on the Top 50 Hip-Hop chart and No. 29 on the Top 50 Maghrebi chart, while Ma3iz sits at No. 93 on the Top 100 Artists chart.
Since its release on September 29, “7olm Kbir” has surpassed two million views on YouTube.
For the first time, Ma3iz also took a hands-on approach to the release, directing the music video himself for the first time and filming it on his phone while touring New York.
The song has also sparked conversations among fans, with some connecting personally with its message and delivery.
Beyond its sound, the track’s themes have struck a chord with listeners, bringing back memories and experiences they recognize in their own lives. That connection has helped the song gain traction beyond its initial release.
A growing musical journey
Ma3iz has already built a strong online following through songs that have attracted millions of views.
“Jro7i,” one of his most popular releases, has now surpassed 140 million views on YouTube, reflecting the rapper’s growing reach among Moroccan and Maghrebi audiences.
His work has also reached international listeners through collaborations beyond Morocco. In July, Ma3iz joined Nora Fatehi on “Slay to Rhythm,” contributing Arabic vocals to a track sung primarily in English.
The collaboration introduced his voice to a wider audience while bringing Arabic into an international pop production.
With “7olm Kbir” climbing Billboard Arabia’s charts and his name appearing on the Top 100 Artists list for the first time, Ma3iz continues to expand his presence in the regional music scene.
