Rabat – What happens when you combine the timeless voice of Édith Piaf, the energy of Moroccan youth, and the power of rugby? The answer is “Piaf, Invités & Héritiers,” a dazzling new musical tour that will tour across Moroccan cities in April.

The production takes audiences on a journey through the golden era of French music (1945–1980), revisiting Piaf and her contemporaries, before spotlighting the generation inspired by her legacy.

The tour kicks off in Rabat on April 14, followed by Casablanca on April 21, and Marrakech on April 24.

From singers and dancers to actors and live musicians, the troupe will be purely Moroccan, featuring Moroccan youth talents. It will bring together established artists as well as emerging talents, many of whom have been involved on 2M’s television program “Starlight”.

More than just a performance, the event also serves a greater purpose. It supports the “Les Enfants de l’Ovale Maroc” association, which has been transforming the lives of disadvantaged Moroccan youth through educational support and rugby since 2004.

The show is under the artistic direction of Maïa Vion, who previously created the successful Moroccan musical “Piaf Toujours” in 2008, which toured across many Moroccan cities.

Behind the scenes, Diae Ettayebi serves as Musical Director, Charafe Ennaji as Choreographer, Marius Kouassi as Arranger, and Charles-Emmanuel Renauld as Operational Director.

“Piaf, Invités & Héritiers” blends entertainment, youth talent and solidarity. This is reflected in its central theme: “Youth for Youth,” which emphasizes the power of solidarity among young people.
