Casablanca – Jazzablanca 2026 continues on Thursday with a lineup that once again reflects the festival’s commitment to musical diversity.
Thursday’s program moves between Amazigh heritage, contemporary pop, jazz virtuosity, and roots blues, bringing together artists from Morocco, Canada, Japan, the US, and Lebanon for another evening of musical discovery at Anfa Park.
Football takes center stage
As Morocco faces France in the FIFA World Cup quarterfinal at 9 p.m., Jazzablanca has adjusted its evening schedule to allow festivalgoers to enjoy both the match and the concerts.
Doors at Anfa Park open at 6 p.m., while the festival launches with two simultaneous performances at 7:30 p.m., before broadcasting the match.
Once the game concludes, the night’s final concerts resume across the festival grounds.
The free-access Parc de la Ligue Arabe stage remains unchanged.
Kel Dades
The evening begins at 6 p.m. on the Parc de la Ligue Arabe stage, where Moroccan group Kel Dades opens the program.
Born in the heart of the Dadès Valley, the band draws on Amazigh traditions while naturally weaving together blues, jazz, and Gnaoua influences.
Their music remains deeply rooted in Moroccan heritage while reaching beyond borders through contemporary arrangements.
Charlotte Cardin
At 7:30 p.m., the Casa Anfa stage welcomes Canadian singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin.
Following the international success of Phoenix and 99 Nights, Cardin has established herself as one of contemporary pop’s most distinctive voices.
Her Jazzablanca debut brings together intimate songwriting, soulful vocals, and the magnetic stage presence that has taken her from Montreal to some of the world’s biggest stages.
Hiromi
At the very same time, Japanese pianist Hiromi takes over Scene 21 at 7:30 p.m..
Renowned for pushing the boundaries of jazz through influences ranging from classical music to pop, Hiromi transforms every performance into an unpredictable musical journey.
Her remarkable technique and boundless creativity promise one of the festival’s most captivating instrumental performances.
MIKA
Once the World Cup match comes to an end, attention returns to the Casa Anfa Stage, where MIKA makes his highly anticipated return to Jazzablanca.
After winning over audiences during his 2023 appearance, the internationally acclaimed pop icon returns with Hyperlove, bringing together infectious pop melodies, emotional depth, and the unmistakable charisma that has made him one of the festival’s most anticipated acts.
Fantastic Negrito
Meanwhile, Scene 21 welcomes Fantastic Negrito.
The three-time GRAMMY Award winner continues to redefine contemporary blues through a powerful blend of soul, rock, and deeply personal storytelling.
Known for his electrifying live performances, Fantastic Negrito closes the festival with the raw energy that has earned him acclaim on stages around the world.
A journey across musical worlds
From Amazigh rhythms and contemporary pop to boundary-pushing jazz and modern blues, tonight’s lineup once again offers audiences a journey across cultures and generations.
With Morocco’s World Cup quarterfinal woven into the evening’s schedule, Jazzablanca continues to celebrate both music and football, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to experience two of the country’s biggest passions in a single evening.
