Rabat – Moroccan comedian Hassan El Fad is taking his new show “Hassan Jidan” on the road, with a two-month tour across Morocco and Europe running from October 10 to December 17.

The tour will kick off in Fez on October 10, before heading to Brussels on October 18. The show will then make stops in Casablanca and Rabat on October 22 and 25, followed by a European date in Lyon on November 14.

From there, “Hassan Jidan” will continue across Morocco, with performances scheduled in Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, and Tangier.

The show will return to Rabat and Casablanca for the final two dates of the tour on December 16 and 17, respectively.

According to the tour poster, the show will also feature appearances by some of the newer names in Moroccan comedy, including Adam Belhaj, Wahiba Bouya, and Mohamed Fatih.

This will not be their first time sharing the stage. The comedians recently appeared together at the “Chaouen du Rire Festival” last July, bringing different generations of Moroccan comedy together in one lineup.

That same mix will now make its way to “Hassan Jidan,” pairing El Fad’s long-standing presence in Moroccan comedy with the energy of a younger generation of performers.

A lasting legacy in the Moroccan comedy scene

El Fad has built his name through some of the most recognizable characters and comedy projects in Moroccan television. His iconic role as Kabour in “L’Couple” and later “Kabour W Lahbib” helped turn him into one of Morocco’s most familiar faces

That comedy legacy is now moving back to the stage, where El Fad will meet audiences face-to-face and bring along a few newer voices from the scene.
